UPSC Educational Qualification
Medical Officer/ Research Officer, Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor, Assistant Engineer, Architect (Group-A) & Senior Scientific Officer Various Posts the required.
Medical Officer/ Research Officer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Homoeopathy from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.
Assistant Engineer:
- Master’s Degree in Science in one of the subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry (Inorganic) OR Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor:
- MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Post Graduate Degree in the concerned Speciality or Super Speciality Mentioned or Diplomate National Board (Neuro Surgery).
- 3 year’s teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty.
Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics)
- Master’s degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent
- 3 year’s experience of analytical methods/research
Senior Scientific Officer (Biology)
- Master’s Degree in Zoology or Botany or Anthropology or Life Science or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University
- 3 year’s experience of analytical methods/research
Senior Scientific Officer (Chemistry)
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Toxicology or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University
- 5 year’s experience in the field of Chemistry or Toxicology
Senior Scientific Officer (Documents)
- Master’s degree in Physics or Chemistry or Computer Science or Forensic Science with Physics or Chemistry or Forensic Science or Computer Science as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level OR B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering or MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized university or equivalent
- 3 year’s experience of analytical methods/research

- Graduate degree preferably in science with a diploma in photography from a recognized University/ Institution
- 3 years experience in photography including Scientific photography with theoretical and practical knowledge
