Eligibility Criteria for IAF Airmen in Group X and Y Trade
Application Fee
Based on the Candidates Category wise the Application Fee is issued for Air Force X and Y Group Various Posts.
- General / OBC/ EWS: Rs.250/-
- SC / ST: Rs.250/-
Pay the Examination Payment Fee Through: Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking or E-Challan payment at any Axis Bank Branch.

Educational Qualification
Indian Air Force Airmen (Group X & Y) Various Posts the required Educational Qualification.
Group X (Except Education Instructor Trade):
- Class 12th (10+2/ Intermediate)/ Equivalent Exam Pass with Mathematics, Physics, & English with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English
- Or 3 years Diploma in Engineering in any stream with 50% Marks.
Group Y (Except Medical Assistant and Musician) Trades:
- Class 12th (10+2/ Intermediate)/ Equivalent Exam Pass in any Stream/ Subjects with 50% Marks in Aggregate and 50% Marks in English.
- Or 2 Years Vocational Course from Education Boards with Minimum 50% Marks in Aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Group Y Medical Assistant Trade Only:
- Class 12th (10+2/ Intermediate)/ Equivalent Exam Pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with Minimum 50% Marks in Aggregate and 50% Marks in English.
Airmen (Group X & Y) Medical Standards:
