Actually, the requisition for Bihar Teacher Vacancy for the post of school teacher will be sent by the Bihar Education Department to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC).

Bihar Teacher Vacancy 2023: Information about the age limit prescribed
- Your age should be between 21 years to 40 years.
- OBC and Lower Category candidates will get an age relaxation of 3 years.
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and EWS category candidates will get an age relaxation of 5 years.
- There will be no age relaxation for the candidates belonging to the general and upper caste categories.
Educational Qualification

Qualification for Primary Teacher
- Class 10th passed in 45% Marks
- Class 12th pass with D.El.Ed / D.Ed Or Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc/ B.A.) Passed in any stream with 50% marks with B.ED qualified OR Diploma in Education or Diploma in Special Elementary or Bachelor of Elementary Education Passed
- CTET/ Bihar TET qualified
- Can work as a teacher in private or government institutions.
Qualification for Secondary Teacher
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc/ B.A/ B.Com) Passed in any stream with 45% Marks and passed/ appeared in senior secondary/ B. ED passed with the minimum 50% marks

- Four years bachelor’s degree in elementary courses with passed with the minimum 50% marks
Or
- Graduation Passed with 50% marks and one-year D.EI.Ed.
Or
- Final year appearing students of B.ED/ 2 year diploma in Education in Special Education/ 2 year diploma in Elementary Education
