- Pass in Class 12th (Intermediate) standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with 60% Marks from a recognized board/university. Or
- Matriculation (Class 10th pass) from a recognized board + 2 years ITI Certificate in one of the following trades:
- Radio and Television
- Electronics Engineering
- Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)
- Data Preparation and Computer Software
- General Electronics Engineering
- Data Entry Operator
For Head Constable (Radio Mechanic):
- Pass in Class 12th (Intermediate) standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with 60% Marks from a recognized board/university. Or
