Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any Recognized University
Acharya in Sanskrit OR Shastri in Sanskrit with one-year diploma in ‘Karam Kand’

Granthi:

Only for Sikh Male Candidates
Bachelor Degree in any discipline with ‘Gyani’ in Punjabi

Maulvi (Sunni) and Maulvi (Shia) for Ladakh Scouts:

Only for Muslim Male Candidates
Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any Recognized University
Maulvi Alim in Arabic or Adib Alim in Urdu.

Padre:
