Educational Qualification

Sub Inspector (Master):
- Class 12th Passed from any recognized Board.
- 2nd Class Master Certificate issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
Sub Inspector (Engine Driver):
- Class 12th Passed from any recognized Board.
- 1st Class Engine Driver Certificate issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
Sub Inspector (Workshop):
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
OR
- Diploma in Mechanical/ Marine/ Automobile Engineering from any recognized Institute.
Head Constable (Master):
- Class 10th Passed from any recognized Board.
- Serang Certificate from any recognized Institute.
Head Constable (Engine Driver):
- Class 10th Passed from any recognized Board.
- 2nd Class Engine Driver Certificate.
Head Constable (Workshop):
- Class 10th Passed from any recognized Board.
- ITI Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine)/ Electrician/ Machinist/ Carpentry/ AC Technician/ Electronics & Plumbing from a recognized Institute.
Consatble (Crew):
- Class 10th Passed from any recognized Board.
- 1 year experience in operation of Boat below 265 HP.
- Should know swimming in deep water without any assistance.
