Educational Qualification
Assistant Commandant posts the required Indian Coast Guard Qualification.
General Duty (GD):
- Bachelor Degree with Minimum 60% Marks from any recognized university/ Institute (i.e. All Semester / Year)
- Maths, Physics as a subject up to Class 12th/ XII (Intermediate/ 10+2 Level) Examination
Commercial Pilot (CPL-SSA):
- Class 12th (10+2/ Intermediate) Passed with 60% Marks
- Valid Commercial Pilot License from DGCA.
Technical (Engineering & Electrical):
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication / Instrumentation and Control / Electronics and Communication / Power Engineering / Power Electronics / Naval Architecture / Mechanical / Marine / Automotive / Mechatronics / Industrial and Production / Metallurgy / Design / Aeronautical / Aerospace with Minimum 60% Marks from any recognised university/ Institute.
- Class 12th/ XII (Intermediate/ 10+2 Level) with Physics / Math as a Compulsory Subject with 60% Marks.
Law Entry :
- Degree in Law Minimum 60% Marks from any recognized university/ Institute.
Medical Standards
- Height: Minimum 157 Cm
- Chest: Minimum 5 Cm Expansion
- Weight: Proportionate to the Height and Age, + 10 % acceptable
