Educational Qualification

Civilian Technical Instructor, Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Civilian Motor Driver, MTS and Fatigueman Posts the required Educational Qualification.

Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade):         

  • Class 10th (Matriculation) Passed from any recognized Board.
  • Civilian Driving Licence for Heavy Vehicles
  • 2 Years’ Experience

MTS (Chowkidar/ Messenger) & Fatigueman:

  • Class 10th (Matriculation) Passed from any recognized Board.
  • Conversant with duties of respective trade with one year’s experience in the trade.

Draughtsman Grade III:

  • Class 10th (Matriculation) Passed from any recognized Board.
  • Diploma/ Certificate in Draughtsmanship
  • Some experience in Map/ Chart Drawing

Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

  • Class 12th (10+2/ Intermediate) Exam Pass in Any Recognized Board.
  • Computer Typing Speed: English @35 WPM OR Hindi @30 WPM

Stenographer Grade-II:

  • Class 12th (10+2/ Intermediate) Exam Pass in Any Recognized Board.
  • Dictation: 80 WPM for 10 Min.
  • Computer Transcription: English @50 Minutes, Hindi @65 Minutes

Civilian Technical Instructor (CTI):

  • B.Sc with Physics and Maths or Equivalent from Any Recognized University/ Institute.

Ministry of Defence Syllabus

General Intelligence & Reasoning:

The test may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making visual memory, discrimination,  observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship arithmetical-computation and other analytical
functions.

General Awareness:

The questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him/ her and its application to society. The test will include questions relating to current events, India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc.

English Language:

Candidates understanding the basics of the English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage etc. his/her writing ability would be tested.

Numerical Aptitude:

This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount, use of Table and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work etc.
